These terms govern your use of the AntiqScan iOS app. By using the app you agree to them. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
What AntiqScan does
AntiqScan uses artificial intelligence and web research to identify antiques and collectibles from photos and to estimate their market value.
Estimates are informational only. They are not professional appraisals, not a guarantee of value, authenticity, or attribution, and not financial advice. AI-generated identifications can be wrong. Before buying, selling, or insuring an item based on an estimate, consult a qualified professional appraiser.
Subscriptions
AntiqScan requires an auto-renewing subscription (“AntiqScan Pro”). Two plans are offered; exact prices are always shown in the app before you subscribe and may vary by country and currency:
- Yearly — $39.99 per year, with a 3-day free trial.
- Weekly — $4.99 per week.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends, if you started one).
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the service: no attempts to circumvent subscription checks, no automated or bulk scanning, no reverse engineering, and no uploading of unlawful content. We may suspend access that violates these terms or imposes unreasonable load on the service.
Your content
You keep all rights to the photos you scan. You grant us the limited license needed to process them (including via the third-party AI and search providers described in the Privacy Policy) and to store the ones you save to your collection.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on identifications or value estimates, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using AntiqScan at any time; cancel your subscription via the App Store and, if you wish, request data deletion (see the Privacy Policy).
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
